Contract Bottling - 18.5 litres & 13.0 litres

Celtic Vale Mineral Water saw several major changes in the year 2002, with additional buildings being erected and a new modern high capacity bottling line installed specifically for contract bottling of the 18.5 and 13.0 litres.

The bottling line is capable of filling 450 bottles per hour. This process is conducted without human contact.

This new stainless steel machinery consists of the following stages:-

• The bottle is de-capped in an automatic de-capper
• Each bottle is thoroughly washed inside and out with a three phase process:-
   
• A hot water washing station
• Sanitisation injection system
• Clean water rinse with mineral water
• The bottles are filled in trio with a computerised pre-set volume of water. When the bottles are filled there is no contact with the filling nozzles to avoid damage to the bottle necks and avoid contamination
• The bottles are capped with tamper evident seals for quality
• The final process involves each bottle being date and batch coded before being dispatched

Our own transport of artics and smaller lorries allows us to distribute nationally from single pallets to full artic loads.

Tankers of water

Celtic Vale Mineral Water also has the facilities at the bottling plant to supply bulk tankers of spring water nationally and for the export market.
